Attorney Joseph Gorman graduated from Canisius College in 1991 and the University of Akron School of Law in 1994. That same year he was admitted to the Ohio State Bar Association and is authorized to practice in the Northern District of Ohio Federal Court. He is a four year veteran of the United States Air Force.
Joseph is a former senior prosecutor who tried many cases in the criminal division of the Summit County Prosecutor's office during the years 1999 and 2000. He is one of the founding partners of Gorman, Malarcik, Pierce and Vuillemin.
Mr. Gorman has been selected by his peers and recognized by Inside Business Magazine as one of
the top criminal defense attorneys in Northeast Ohio every year since 2001. In 2005 Joseph was named an Ohio Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine.
He has won jury acquittals for clients facing charges ranging from Domestic Violence to Aggravated Murder. Civilly, he has represented individuals as well as companies in various matters including personal injury and business litigation.
Joseph takes pride in his blue collar roots and applies that type of work ethic and dedication to his client's cases. His past clients include other attorneys, physicians, educators, police officers and elected officials. |
